The Clinical Content Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the clinical curriculum content and assessment of a module. This involves setting questions for formative and summative assessments, reviewing post-examination statistics, and consulting with the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) committee chair regarding possible OSCE stations relevant to the module's content.
Additional responsibilities include providing input on reassessment or remediation plans required for students, participating in supporting students who are involved in reassessment of the module content, and acting as a resource for any questions about curriculum content or resources.
The Clinical Content Specialist will also be a voting member of the Introduction to Clinical Medicine Curriculum Committee and will meet individually with the Theme 5 Chair(s) annually to review their module's content and assessments.
This is a two-year appointment as a stipendiary faculty member at NOSM University. The successful candidate must have a Doctor of Medicine Degree, possession of a current license to practice medicine in the province of Ontario, and experience or an interest in cultural competency and considerations.
