At Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM), we are committed to innovative education and research for a healthier North. We are currently seeking a highly qualified Clinical Content Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

The Theme 5 Introduction to Clinical Medicine (ICM) Module Clinical Content Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the clinical curriculum content and assessment of their assigned module. This includes setting questions for formative and summative assessments, reviewing post-examination statistics, and consulting with the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) committee chair.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assigned module 107 from Phase 1 Year 2
  • Oversight of Clinical Curriculum Content and Assessment
  • Set questions for Formative Module Review Examination (FMR)
  • Set questions for Phase 1 Summative Assessment (P1SA)
  • Review of P1SA post-examination statistics
  • Consult with OSCE committee chair regarding possible OSCE stations
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine Degree
  • Current license to practice medicine in the province of Ontario
  • Faculty appointment with NOSM University
  • Cultural competency and considerations experience or interest
  • Effective communication in English (verbally, written, and comprehension)
