Job Description

As a Clinical Care Specialist at Baycrest, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality client-centered care to residents with varying cognitive and physical abilities. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough client assessments to identify individualized care needs.
  • Develop and deliver nursing interventions, including medications and treatments, within your scope of practice.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on health-related issues.
  • Collaborate with RNs to provide expert clinical knowledge and skills in providing quality client-centered healthcare services.

Qualifications:

  • Current registration in good standing from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate, Level C - Automated External Device (AED).
  • Prior experience in Long-Term Care or Community Settings an asset.

Work Environment:

You will be working in a dynamic Cognitive Support Unit where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.
