Business Development Director

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to join True North Consultants in the Oakville, Toronto area. This hybrid role requires a balance of remote work flexibility and in-person collaboration.

The ideal candidate will drive business growth by leveraging their expertise in marketing solutions or professional services, closing high-volume sales, and managing diverse sales cycles. They will possess a proven track record of new business development and a strategic mindset to enhance customer loyalty and execute impactful corporate initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and expansion
  • Cultivate lasting client relationships through exceptional communication and service
  • Manage diverse sales cycles, from initial outreach to closing deals
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and industry developments

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of B2B sales experience targeting Fortune 500 companies, with no more than 3 job changes in the last 10 years
  • Proven track record of new business development in marketing solutions or professional services
  • Experience closing high-volume sales (over $250k) and managing complex sales cycles
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

What We Offer:

  • A base salary of $120,000 CAD with the potential to earn up to $160,000 in the first year through activity bonuses and commissions
