Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve growth objectives in their assigned territory.

About the Role:

  • Promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers through relationship-building
  • Partner with customers to understand their needs and objectives
  • Foster strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Serve as a contact for all Onward Accounts in the assigned territory
  • Provide input regarding needs and concerns of national accounts
  • Expedite orders and prepare sales and product presentations

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as liaison for Onward Accounts in the assigned territory
  • Assist with the execution and development of national account programs
  • Communicate policy changes, product availability, and opportunity buys to key accounts and sales representatives
  • Gather competitive information regarding national account programs
  • Assist with providing sales tools, booking programs, and other information to sales reps

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated sales and business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Results-driven and goal-oriented
  • Familiarity with the BBQ industry an asset
