Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach to join our team at Life Time. As an Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach, you will play a key role in helping our Swim Team members improve their swimming skills in our state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools. You will work closely with the Head Swim Team Coach to develop and lead Swim Team Group Workouts, register new participants, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of our Aquatics Facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert coaching to competitive swimmers to help them master their technique
  • Lead daily practices under the direction of the Head Coach, promoting a positive and supportive team environment
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Life Time, promoting our products, services, and programs to our members and guests

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of swim coaching experience preferred
  • Member of ASCA and USA Swimming
  • CPR/AED certification required; Lifeguard Certification within 60 days of hire
  • Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift heavier objects

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASCA Level 1 Certification or higher
