Job Opportunity: Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach to join our team at Life Time. As an Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach, you will play a vital role in helping our Swim Team members improve their swimming skills in our state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Swim Team Coach in writing and leading Swim Team Group Workouts
  • Help register new participants for the Swim Team and maintain the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities
  • Offer competitive swimmers the opportunity to master technique and run daily practices under the direction of the head coach
  • Promote all Life Time products, services, and programs

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of swim coaching experience
  • Member of ASCA
  • Member of USA Swimming
  • CPR/AED certification required
  • Lifeguard Certification within 60 days of hire
  • Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
  • Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
  • Ability to routinely bend to raise 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to raise more than 20lbs

Preferred Requirements:

  • ASCA Level 1 Certification or higher
