About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Implementation Specialist to join our team at D2L. As a key member of our Implementation and Training Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful onboarding and launch of our products with our customers.

As a Senior Implementation Specialist, you will partner with project managers and implementation consultants to lead implementation projects across various verticals, including K12, Higher Education, Corporate, and Government. Your strong technical expertise will be essential in executing client implementation projects, configuring the D2L platform, and integrating it with clients' existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Solutions Development: Gather technical requirements for integrations with client systems, including Library Services, and work with clients to plan and execute deployment of integrations and customizations.
  • Project Management: Deliver projects across multiple clients concurrently, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide guidance to other implementation specialists through mentoring and assisting in analyzing complex technical cases and solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to speak to various audiences with different levels of technical acumen.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resulting in creative solutioning.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience or equivalent co-op/internship experience.
  • Experience working with one or more of the following technologies: Business Intelligence tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI), XML, HTML/HTML5/CSS, SQL.
  • University degree/diploma or equivalent in a relevant field considered an asset.

What We Offer:

  • Annualized base salary range: $78,000 — $98,000 CAD.
  • Tuition reimbursement of up to $4,000 CAD for continuing education through our Catch the Wave Program.
