Job Summary

Coras Breakfast and Lunch is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly to maintain our high standards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our purchasing and inventory decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis to ensure that they are informed of our operations and any issues that may arise.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Coras Breakfast and Lunch, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods, and you must be able to work in a noisy environment.

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Language: English
