Key Responsibilities- Laying out and cutting fabric to precise specifications
- Fabricating and installing upholstery components
- Tacking, gluing, or sewing ornamental trim, braids, or buttons
- Working with a variety of materials, including leather, plastic, wool, nylon, and cotton or synthetic fabrics
Our ideal candidate will have experience working in the furniture and fixtures manufacturing industry, with a focus on upholstery and repair. You may have worked in a furniture upholstery and repair shop, a specialty seat manufacturing company, or a similar environment.
Requirements- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to distinguish between colors and work with precision
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
