We are looking for a skilled Upholstery Craftsman who is passionate about delivering exceptional results and providing outstanding customer service. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from restoring antique furniture to creating custom upholstery solutions for residential and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Replace worn-out webbing, springs, and other furniture parts with precision and attention to detail.
  • Lay out, cut, fabricate, and install upholstery using a range of materials and techniques.
  • Tack, glue, or sew ornamental trim, braids, or buttons to add finishing touches to our clients' furniture pieces.
  • Repair furniture frames and refinish wood surfaces to restore their original beauty.
  • Operate sewing machines or sew by hand to create intricate designs and patterns.
  • Garnish the bottom and back of seats with interwoven rattan to add a touch of elegance.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate as a minimum educational requirement.
  • 3-5 years of experience in upholstery or a related field.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • The ability to distinguish between colors and create visually appealing designs.
  • A combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and repetitive tasks.
  • The ability to handle heavy loads and work under tight deadlines.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with occasional heavy lifting and carrying. You will be required to stand, sit, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods. The ideal candidate should be physically fit and able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
