We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Wild Wing Ingersoll. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment as needed
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Organize buffets and banquets to ensure timely and efficient service
- Manage kitchen operations to meet the needs of our customers
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Dependability, flexibility, and initiative
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Free parking available on site
- Permanent full-time position with 30-40 hours per week
