Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Technologist to join our team in Ottawa. As a key member of our structural group, you will be responsible for supporting engineering designs for civil infrastructure projects, working with diverse teams, and assisting with project completion on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support engineering designs for civil infrastructure projects, including buildings, ports, harbors, and bridges.
  • Work collaboratively with diverse teams of various disciplines to achieve project goals.
  • Assist with project completion on schedule, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Write, compile, and review technical reports as required.
  • Participate in site visit teams to gather information and complement design efforts.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the group, increasing the general knowledge base throughout the company.
Requirements
  • Preferably currently registered or eligible to register as C.E.T. with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists.
  • College diploma from an accredited Civil Engineering Technology program.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering consulting.
  • Hands-on experience with design software such as Revit, BIM 360, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office is an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Commitment and dedication to client service and technical excellence.
  • Proven project management skills.
