Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Structural Technologist to join our Structural group in our Ottawa office. As a Senior Structural Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of civil infrastructure projects, including concrete, steel, and wood structures. You will be responsible for developing cost-effective and practical engineering designs and construction solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support engineering designs for civil infrastructure projects, including buildings, ports, harbors, and bridges.
  • Work collaboratively with diverse teams of various disciplines to deliver projects on schedule.
  • Assist with project completion, including writing, compiling, and reviewing technical reports.
  • Participate in site visit teams to gather information and complement design.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the group, increasing the general knowledge base throughout the company.
Requirements
  • Preferably currently registered or eligible to register as C.E.T. with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists.
  • College diploma from an accredited Civil Engineering Technology program.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering consulting.
  • Hands-on experience with design software such as Revit, BIM 360, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office is an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Commitment and dedication to client service and technical excellence.
  • Proven project management skills.
