Senior Architectural Technologist

Architecture49 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technologist to join our CENTRUS team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our projects.
About the RoleThe Centre Block Rehabilitation Project is a complex, long-term heritage renovation, rehabilitation, and rejuvenation project of national interest within the Parliamentary Precinct. As a Senior Technologist, you will be responsible for producing technical design and contract documents in collaboration with project teams, working with senior team members to validate designs and deliverables, and providing technical design solutions for construction.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement technical design solutions for construction projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to produce technical design and contract documents.
- Validate designs and deliverables to ensure compliance with technical guidelines, code requirements, and regulations.
- Provide technical mentoring and leadership to less experienced technical staff.
- Assist the dedicated site team and prepare documentation for contract administration.
- Degree or diploma in architectural or building technology from a technical college.
- 10+ years' experience working as a technologist or technician for an architectural consulting firm.
- Experience leading BIM projects.
- Construction site experience.
- Knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, Microsoft 365 environment, and Bluebeam.
- Professional registration in a provincial association dedicated to technologists will be considered an asset.
