Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Labour Management Group Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Help medical examiners in charge
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Pave and rake asphalt
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma
  • Experience: Will train
  • Work site environment: Outdoors, at heights, confined spaces, dangerous, dusty
  • Work setting: Various locations
  • Equipment and machinery experience: Bobcats, carriage grease machine, concrete vibrators, reciprocating saws, circular saws, grouting machine, chippers, jackhammers, air guns, nail guns, drills, chain saw, sledgehammer
  • Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial, and institutional, residential
  • Transportation/travel information: Own transportation
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, tight deadlines, manual dexterity, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads
  • Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
  • Personal suitability: Flexibility, reliability, team player
