Job Summary

The Culinary Specialist will be responsible for planning and preparing complete meals or individual dishes and foods, determining food portion sizes and costs, and maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
    • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inventory Management
    • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment
    • Stand for extended periods
  • Communication
    • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Teamwork
    • Work as a team player
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Language
    • Fluency in English
