About the Role
As a Fire Inspections and Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling and optimizing service and inspection work, ensuring all customer commitments are met, and coordinating with the Warehouse Shipper & Receiver to ship materials to customers. You will also be responsible for monitoring various KPIs surrounding service/inspection performance, reviewing, scheduling, and following up on all service/inspection jobs until completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and optimize service and inspection work using Oracle (ACE) and assign tasks to technicians based on skills, territories, customer preferences, and availability.
- Communicate and resolve issues with customers and personnel regarding scheduling and service repair work.
- Measure branch activity and compliance with program initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans with branch/region management.
- Monitor technician activity and schedules to ensure customer commitments are met and communicate status changes to customers.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of customer service experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Prominent level of organization and attention to detail.
- Fleet scheduler or service coordinator experience.
- Strong Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working in a SimplexGrinnell District or fast-paced work environment.
- Use of ACE/Oracle systems.
- Product knowledge of life safety (fire alarm & sprinkler) equipment.
