Job Title: Art Gallery Manager Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Art Gallery Manager Assistant to join our team at All In The Wild Photography Inc.

Job Summary:

The Art Gallery Manager Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Gallery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the gallery, including developing public relations and promotional programs, evaluating daily operations, and implementing new strategies and programs touching public relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop public relations and promotional programs to increase gallery visibility and attendance.
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Implement new strategies and programs to enhance public relations and marketing efforts.
  • Perform clerical activities, such as manual and electronic filing and record payments received.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling and coordinating events.
  • Recruit and supervise staff, including training and development programs.
  • Develop and administer policies and programs to ensure compliance with gallery standards.
  • Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial stability.
  • Act as liaison between staff and management to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors.
  • Use principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and potential sales volumes.
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with staff and management to achieve gallery goals.
  • Identify and solicit potential clients and customers.
  • Complete sales transactions and provide excellent customer service.
  • Conduct sales calls and presentations to potential clients and customers.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field, such as sales, marketing, or customer service.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
