About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Saza Accounting Services Inc. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various bookkeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
  • Manage fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining accurate records and performing regular reconciliations.
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Perform journal entries, reconcile accounts, and prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • QuickBooks certification an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
