We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Lakeshore Accounting Inc. as a Bookkeeper. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
    • Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Accounting Tasks
    • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
    • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation.
    • Post journal entries and prepare other financial reports.
  • Computer and Technology
    • Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Sage Accounting Software.
    • Experience with MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
