Media Content Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Associate Producer – Technician is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth production of our programming. This role requires a strong understanding of the Inuit community and the ability to work in Inuktitut and English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with hosts and other technicians to ensure timely and accurate delivery of programming.
- Provide technical support and monitor equipment for incoming broadcasts, songs, and daily lineups.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community members and stakeholders to ensure accurate and culturally sensitive content.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and address technical and editorial issues.
- Stay up-to-date with current events and news happening in Inuit Nunangat.
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of the Inuit community and other diverse communities in the North.
- Ability to work in Inuktitut and English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical troubleshooting skills are an asset.
- Able to work flexible hours, weekends, and nights.
