At CBC/Radio-Canada, we are seeking a talented Broadcasting Content Coordinator to join our team in Iqaluit, Nunavut.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in the heart of Canada's Arctic region and be part of our mission to create content that informs, entertains and connects Canadians on multiple platforms. As a Broadcasting Content Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in keeping up to date with current events and news happening in Inuit Nunangat.
You will be responsible for solving technical and editorial problems when they arise, working closely with our team to provide support and stay up to date with stories and events in the region.
Your Responsibilities- Keep track of current events and news in Inuit Nunangat
- Solve technical and editorial problems as they arise
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide support and stay up to date with regional stories and events
- Liaise with interviewees, contributors, and other participants to facilitate communication with members of the audience
We are looking for a candidate with a deep knowledge of the Inuit community and other diverse communities in the North. You should have the ability to work in Inuktitut and English, possess enthusiastic teamwork skills, and be able to communicate effectively with others.
A combination of experience and education will be considered. Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights. We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
