Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Head Chef to join our team at Sunset Cafe.

About the Role:

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring a minimum of 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, provide guidance and support to ensure they meet their responsibilities and contribute to the success of the team.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, physically demanding tasks, client focus, dependability, flexibility, reliability, time management, and excellent communication skills.

Salary and Benefits:
