Bakery Operations Specialist

At Sunset Cafe, we are seeking a highly skilled Bakery Operations Specialist to join our team. This role involves supporting the production of high-quality baked goods, ensuring efficiency and productivity in our bakery operations.
About the Role- This is a full-time position with 35 hours per week, permanent employment.
- The salary for this position is approximately $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
In this role, you will work closely with our head baker to prepare ingredients, operate machinery, and package finished products. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety standards, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare ingredients, including measuring and dumping ingredients into mixing machines.
- Operate machinery, such as grinding machines and forming machines, to construct containers.
- Pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety standards.
- Perform quality control checks on products and packaging.
- You must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant work experience in a similar role.
- You should be physically fit, able to lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- You must be reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively in a team.
