Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel General Manager to join our team at Super 8 By Wyndham Clifton Hill.
Job Summary:The Hotel General Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the hotel, including financial management, human resources, and customer service. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in hotel management and will be able to lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Human Resources: Manage the recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring that the hotel has the right people with the right skills to deliver excellent customer service.
- Customer Service: Ensure that all guests receive a high level of service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as hospitality or business.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in hotel management, preferably in a senior role.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests, staff, and stakeholders.
- Workload: The Hotel General Manager will work a 30-35 hour week, with flexibility to work additional hours as required.
- Work Environment: The hotel is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility: The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Organized: The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
