Hotel Operations Manager

The Glengate Hotel & Suites is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Managing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest service and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the work of hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage services.
- Assist guests with special needs and ensure their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Coordinate and review work assignments, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Hire and train new staff members, providing guidance on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging for repairs as needed to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
- Requisition materials and supplies, ensuring the hotel is well-stocked and equipped to meet guest needs.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the hospitality industry.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
The Glengate Hotel & Suites is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, flexibility, and excellent interpersonal skills. Overtime may be required, and standing for extended periods is a regular part of the job.
