Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Trans-Logic Truck Lines Ltd.

About the Role

This is a critical leadership position that requires strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a passion for logistics management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports to senior management on a regular basis.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to minimize downtime and optimize fleet performance.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and meet customer expectations.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business administration, supply chain management, or logistics.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics supervision or management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills to optimize logistics operations.
