Building Systems Instructor

Job Responsibilities
As a Building Systems Instructor at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, you will teach Power Engineering and building systems courses, covering electrical, plumbing, waste management, water, energy management, and automation. You will also be expected to teach program specialty areas, demonstrate boiler plant operation, and manage classroom/lab activities to ensure an optimal learning environment.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
We are seeking a qualified candidate with a Building Systems Technician Certificate or Journeyperson Interprovincial Certificate, and a Fourth-Class Power Engineering Interprovincial Certificate. Four years of recent/relevant Building Systems graduate experience or two years of recent/relevant post-journeyperson experience in building systems maintenance and repair in commercial and industrial settings are required. Additionally, you should have current and qualifiable trade knowledge on modern building systems and technology, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
