Job Summary

This role involves planning and executing procurement activities to ensure timely purchase of materials, services, and equipment to meet project requirements. The ideal candidate will have more than ten years of procurement experience with a minimum of six years at a supervisory level in an engineering, procurement, construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain status reports to track procurement progress.
  • Create procurement plans and strategy documents to ensure compliance with client requirements and proper procurement practices.
  • Evaluate standard procurement documents, including bid lists, requests for quotation/proposal, and commercial bid evaluations.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, including progress payments and terms and conditions, with suppliers.
  • Manage the performance of direct reports, including mentoring and coaching.
Requirements
  • Advanced negotiating experience and knowledge of contracting, contract law, and T&Cs.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a changing environment and work without supervision.
  • Strong computer processing skills and competency with Microsoft Office applications.
