Strategic Procurement Specialist

Spectrum of responsibilities for this role includes strategy development, procurement process improvement, supplier management, and client relations. The goal is to enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our clients' procurement functions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic procurement plans to meet client objectives.
- Analyze and improve existing procurement processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as supply chain management, business administration, or engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement strategy, purchasing, or supplier relationship management, preferably in a top-tier consulting firm or industry.
- Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings and process improvements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel extensively, up to 85%, within North America.
$120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
