About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Instructional Delivery Manager to lead our training delivery team and drive the development of business processes to sustain and enhance our Learning Management System platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the evolution of a high-performing training delivery team aligned to our corporate values.
  • Drive the ongoing development of business processes to sustain and enhance the Learning Management System platform for FortisBC.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders to proactively identify future training requirements and develop appropriate training implementation and delivery plans.
  • Support the implementation of technology for training delivery.
  • Provide professional development opportunities for our full- and part-time trainer pool.
  • Make recommendations for improvement of the training portfolio based on ongoing evaluation of offerings.

Requirements

  • A diploma or degree in a relevant field, plus a minimum of three years of experience leading in an L&D environment. Experience leading unionized personnel an asset.
  • Proven leadership skills to foster a supportive team environment and motivate team members to excel at delivering training to internal customers.
  • Exceptional organization and strategic-thinking skills, managing programming of training across the Company, including classroom and virtual instructor-led training, eLearning, and blended solutions.
  • A demonstrated ability to plan and execute training schedules to ensure training compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with learning management systems an asset.
  • Experience in instructional design an asset.
