We are seeking a highly skilled Instructional Delivery Manager to lead our training delivery team at FortisBC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing training programs that meet the needs of our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead a team of trainers, training coordinators, and learning management administrators to plan and deliver technical and trades training.
- Training Development: Drive the ongoing development of business processes to sustain and enhance the Learning Management System platform for the Company.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish relationships with key stakeholders to proactively identify future training requirements and develop appropriate training implementation and delivery plans.
- Technology Integration: Support the implementation of technology for training delivery.
- Professional Development: Provide professional development opportunities for our full- and part-time trainer pool.
- Training Evaluation: Make recommendations for improvement of the training portfolio based on ongoing evaluation of offerings.
- A diploma or degree in a relevant field, plus a minimum of three years of experience leading in an L&D environment. Experience leading unionized personnel an asset.
- Proven leadership skills to foster a supportive team environment and motivate team members to excel at delivering training to internal customers.
- Exceptional organization and strategic-thinking skills, managing programming of training across the Company, including classroom and virtual instructor-led training, eLearning, and blended solutions.
- A demonstrated ability to plan and execute training schedules to ensure training compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with learning management systems an asset.
- Experience in instructional design an asset.
