About the Role

Mainland Engineering Consultants Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will play a critical role in supporting our engineering projects from design to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings, and prepare engineering designs and drawings.
  • Project Support: Participate in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations, and prepare project schedules.
  • Technical Specialist: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, and possess strong computer and technology skills, including MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
Requirements
  • Civil Engineering Experience: Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings, and participate in field surveys, inspections, or technical investigations.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, and possess strong computer and technology skills.
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
Work Environment
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Capabilities: Stand for extended periods, with attention to detail.
