We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Advisor to join our team at Desjardins. As a Claims Advisor, you will play a critical role in serving and maintaining business relationships with members and clients for all claims.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and approve claims, utilizing your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of property insurance claims and accident benefits.
- Analyze medical, financial, and job information to determine eligibility for benefits based on statutory criteria.
- Settle claims in accordance with Desjardins' standards, policies, and quality commitments, as well as contract terms.
- Negotiate with all parties involved to ensure smooth claims processing.
- Competitive salary and annual bonus.
- Four weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first year.
- Defined benefit pension plan providing predictable, stable income throughout retirement.
- Group insurance, including telemedicine.
- Reimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment.
- General college diploma in a related field.
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience.
- Personal claims adjuster's license.
- Knowledge of French is required.
