Alamos Gold is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at the Island Gold Mine. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for executing procurement category strategies to deliver goods and services to meet mine-site requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of procurement category plans
  • Conducting RFx processes, evaluating proposals, and negotiating agreements with suppliers
  • Ensuring category strategies align with business and operational requirements
  • Delivering value creation that aligns with the overall Supply Chain strategy

Requirements include:

  • 5-8 years of procurement experience in a mining industry or operations-focused environment
  • Degree qualified with a focus on engineering, or equivalent
  • Significant commercial, negotiation, and deal-making experience

This is a 4 days on / 3 days off hybrid role, with opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
