Medical Communications Specialist

As a Medical Communications Associate at Marriott International, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities for our social media channels. This includes establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them. You will also manage active and engaged communities around a defined topic or topics by managing long-lead editorial calendars and monitoring online conversations. Additionally, you will participate in online conversations to build brand visibility, customer satisfaction, and marketing/ecommerce support.
Key Responsibilities
Manage social media channels to establish a positive online presence for the hotel(s)
Develop and implement long-range objectives and strategies to achieve them
Manage active and engaged communities around a defined topic or topics
Participate in online conversations to build brand visibility, customer satisfaction, and marketing/ecommerce support
Monitor online conversations and adjust strategies accordingly
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
2+ years of experience in social media management or related field
Strong understanding of social media platforms and their capabilities
Excellent communication and writing skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
