The Warehouse Coordinator position plays a vital role in the success of Thornhill Medical, an innovative medical device company that provides critical oxygen-focused solutions to emergency healthcare providers worldwide.

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission. This role ensures proper storage, organization, and inventory accuracy while adhering to export regulations.

About the Job
  • Fully embrace 5S and Visual Management principles to maintain a highly efficient warehouse environment.
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of work orders and inventory requests, maintaining exceptional accuracy and performing regular cycle counts.
  • Register inventory transactions in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system with precision and speed.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by strictly adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Establish and document comprehensive warehouse processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support key initiatives and drive business results.
  • Generate reports on materials with expiry dates to ensure proactive inventory management.
  • Ensure seamless compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage hazardous goods according to strict safety protocols.
  • Close work orders and review sales orders with meticulous attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Possess a post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Have 2-3 years of experience in a similar warehouse role, preferably within the medical device industry.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with ERP systems and inventory management software.

  • Coordinate warehouse operations efficiently, including storage and inventory control.
  • Optimize inventory levels and apply sound inventory management principles.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, displaying self-direction and initiative.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
  • Manage multiple tasks under pressure and prioritize activities accordingly.
  • Show attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Hold yourself accountable for meeting commitments.
  • Adhere to quality control processes and standards.
  • Lift, move, and handle heavy materials or equipment safely.
  • Be proficient in using pump trucks.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of 5S and Lean Supply Chain principles.
  • Possess strong computer skills and Microsoft Suite proficiency.

This role is primarily based in a warehouse environment with occasional exposure to production workrooms. You will be required to lift up to 50 pounds and bend occasionally.
