Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Church's Texas Chicken St. Albert. As a key member of our food preparation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities used to optimize inventory and minimize waste.
  • Package take-out food and prepare simple food items for serving.
  • Portion and wrap foods to meet customer demands.
  • Prepare and heat food items to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile.
  • Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to meet customer demands.
Requirements
  • Will train on the job.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • English is the primary language of communication.
  • 30 hours per week.
