About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) Manager to join our team at IISD-ELA. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our social and community programs, ensuring their smooth implementation and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement programs that promote social and community development, including planning, organizing, and evaluating program activities.
Lead a team of professionals and non-professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of programs.
Manage budgets, resources, and personnel to achieve program objectives and ensure the effective use of resources.
Establish and maintain partnerships with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and other organizations, to advance our social and community programs.
Represent our organization in various forums, including government liaison and media relations, to promote our programs and interests.
Requirements
A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as social sciences, public administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, leadership, or a related field.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, with experience in budgeting, financial management, and data analysis.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to teamwork, adaptability, and continuous learning.
