Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Supply Chain Strategist to join our team at Spruce Wood Ltd.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business management, process improvement, and corporate development planning, with experience in managing knowledge and overseeing the development of communication strategies.

About the Role

This is a permanent, part-time position (30 hours per week) that requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to provide customer service and train staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing managerial methods and organization, conducting quality audits, and developing quality management and quality assurance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and advise on managerial methods and organization of an establishment
  • Conduct quality audits to ensure adherence to standards
  • Develop quality management and quality assurance standards
  • Conduct research to determine efficiency and effectiveness of managerial policies and programs
  • Propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures
  • Supervise staff to achieve organizational goals
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Train staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Oversee the development of communication strategies to drive business growth
  • Manage knowledge and share best practices across the organization
  • Offer mentoring and coaching to junior team members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business management, supply chain management)
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in education or teaching, entrepreneurship, project coordination, or research and development
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Visio, MS Word, MS Excel, IBM SPSS, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and MS Project
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
