The estimated salary for this position is $39.23 - $48.13 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying the nursing process to support clients/residents/patients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health within a people-centered approach in acute, transitional, personal care home (PCH), primary care, public health - healthy living, and/or home care settings.

The RN/RPN will work to full scope of practice, engaging in ongoing education and maintaining competency congruent with Southern Health-Santé Sud policies, Professional Standards of Practice, College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba, College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba, Code of Ethics, and the Regulated Health Professions Act.

The incumbent will exercise independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods, and action to be taken on unusual matters, functioning in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Southern Health-Santé Sud.

  • Proficiency in both official languages is essential for target and designated bilingual positions
  • Demonstrated ability to respect confidentiality
  • Good work and attendance record
  • Requires a valid Class 5 driver's license, an all-purpose insured vehicle, and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00
