Welcome to the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, a leading healthcare provider in Manitoba. We are seeking an experienced Health Care Aide to join our team at Portage District General Hospital.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide support and assistance to residents/patients in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as identified in the care plan. This role requires a high level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods, and action to be taken on unusual matters.

This is a temporary position with an estimated salary range of $20.09 - $23.29 per hour. The schedule will include evenings, nights, and weekends, and travel to other regional facilities may be required.

Requirements
  • One to two years' experience working in a health care setting preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Acute Care)
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize assigned workload
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
