Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Care Aide to join our team at Lions Prairie Manor. The successful candidate will provide support and assistance to residents/patients in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as identified in the care plan. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care and have excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to residents/patients in ADLs, adhering to established care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents/patients, their families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of Grade 12 education and completion of a recognized Health Care Aide program.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Acute Care).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan.
