The Loss Prevention Site Lead is a key leadership position within the Amazon Loss Prevention Team. This role requires a strong leader who can foster an environment of inclusion and diversity, and drive process enhancement and increase efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Metrics and Reporting: Enhance, track, and report on key performance indicators to drive performance improvements and achieve desired outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilize Lean Six Sigma concepts to drive process enhancement and increase efficiency, and develop business cases using data collection and analysis.
- Business Partnering: Engage, coach, train, and influence business partners to be an extension of Loss Prevention, and equip them with knowledge to identify leading indicators of Loss Prevention risk.
- Investigations and Interviews: Assist with investigations of internal and external theft and fraud, and conduct interviews when appropriate.
- Inventory Defects and Loss Mitigation: Use tools, data analysis, and collaborate with internal partners to identify inventory defects and create strategic plans to mitigate losses.
- Performance Excellence: Inspire performance excellence on the part of all security services team members and third-party vendors, and lead the way to ensure that MSA is followed and executed appropriately.
- Security Best Practices: Identify, promote, and implement security best practices, and effectively partner with internal customers in evaluating current and future security services, processes, and initiatives.
- Candidate Development: Recruit, hire, develop, and retain candidates who raise the performance bar of the security services organization.
- Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans, and effectively address loss mitigation, physical security considerations, and potential and actual workplace violence incidents.
- Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of relevant professional or military experience.
- 2+ years of experience in law enforcement, loss prevention, risk management, supply chain management, or other related field.
- 2+ years of data collection experience with root cause analysis.
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- 1+ year of experience with MS Office Professional Suite, including intermediate knowledge of Excel.
