Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Division Manager to join our team in Ashcroft, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing the short and medium-term corporate and operational goals and activities of the Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual Divisional strategic plans and budgets to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
- Ensure the division is financially successful while maintaining a strong focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service.
- Manage local operations to achieve high-quality customer service at the lowest possible cost.
- Oversee Division maintenance to ensure compliance with company, industry, and government regulations and standards.
- Responsible for Divisional human resource planning and utilization.
- Ensure Divisional processes are conducted in accordance with Operations Excellence, company, and Divisional SOPs.
- Build and lead a team of motivated, efficient, and productive employees.
- Provide employee-sensitive leadership through fair treatment, open communication, and participative problem-solving.
- Oversee the company's safety policies and programs, ensuring full compliance and leading by example.
- Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with Arrow's customers and the local community.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven success and experience in a similar managerial capacity.
- Preference for post-secondary education in Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
- Preference for trucking industry experience.
- Strong strategic thinking, safety management, and communication skills.
- Excellent teamwork and team-building skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Strong analytical and financial skills.
- Ability to lead by example and adapt to new software.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.
