We are seeking an experienced Claims Representative II to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation. This role will involve representing the company in the negotiation and settlement of claims, working within the guidelines of Best Practices.

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for investigating, negotiating, and settling losses for small to medium complex claims. You will conduct analysis and assessment processes, including analysis of coverage, quantum, and liability assessments.

You will also be responsible for managing indemnity and expenses to ensure accurate and timely financials of exposures are maintained and adhered on each claim file. Additionally, you will provide quality service to external or internal customers, answer queries relating to investigations and the claims process, and determine if a claim is covered or not by analyzing the coverage required to cover the claim.

This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
