About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Clearbrook Auto Repair Ltd. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and estimating parts and labor cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Locate faults and malfunctions in mechanical units to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Repair and Replace Parts: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems to ensure safe and efficient vehicle operation.
  • Estimate Costs: Estimate parts and labor cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, providing accurate quotes to customers.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance service to ensure vehicles are running at optimal levels.
  • Test and Adjust Units: Test and adjust units to specifications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, providing excellent customer service.
  • Complete Reports: Complete reports to record problems and work performed, maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
