About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Zone Auto Repair Ltd. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the repair and maintenance of commercial transport trucks and automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
  • Estimation and Costing: Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Customer Service: Provide customer service and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, with regular overtime required. Must have good hand-eye coordination and be able to lift heavy objects.
  • Experience and Education: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, with a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Language and Work Environment: Fluency in English, with a 40-hour workweek in a permanent position.
