About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Zone Auto Repair Ltd. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the repair and maintenance of commercial transport trucks and automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
  • Estimation and Costing: Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Customer Service: Provide customer service and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, with regular overtime required. The successful candidate will have good hand-eye co-ordination and be able to work in a team environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week in a permanent position. This is a green job that involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
